Digital Audio Walkstation: A DAWking Simulator
Digital Audio Walkstation is a first-person DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with all the frills, variety, and functionality you'd expect from a 4 day game jam. Walk around the board and rearrange the notes at your own leisure, varying their timing and their pitch up to a three octave range.
Go to the toyboxes along the walls and pull new instrument samples out, and be sure to check out some of the advanced controls on the settings wall. You can move the notes "horizontally" along the scrubber's timeline to place them temporally, and move them from red to blue to change their pitch. Stack 'em, throw 'em, make beautiful music...it's up to you!
Note: You can change your mouse sensitivity in the Settings area in-game. You start off facing it on the opposite wall.
I'd love to hear some of your creations in the comments.

How to Play:
Left Click (hold) - Grab a note.
Right Click - Throw the note.
Hold 'F' - Enable bump collision...by default you cant nudge the notes with your body, but this allows you to go bull-in-a-China-shop mode.
Q and E - Lower or raise the volume of the specific note you are looking at.
The Settings Panel on the blue wall is your friend. Use that for other features.
This is my submission for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam.
